Summer 2025 evening sky viewing opportunities are available at several NJ observatories. See https://asterism.org/ (Cranford) and also https://www.uacnj.org/pubprograms.php (Jenny Jump State Forest, reservation suggested). A list of astronomy clubs is at https://www.uacnj.org/clubs.php

I am a member of the Sheep Hill Astronomical Association. We have an observatory with an 18" Newtonian reflector in Boonton, NJ. We usually set up a few other smaller telescopes on the lawn as well. The 3rd Friday of every month is Public Viewing Night (weather permitting) and we are open to the public. Check the website for updates on Public Viewing Night. You can also follow us on Instagram.
